Dawson City: Frozen Time pieces together the bizarre true history of a long-lost collection of 533 nitrate film prints dating from the 1910s – 1920s. In 1978 they were discovered buried and miraculously preserved under a sub-arctic hockey rink in a former Klondike Gold Rush town in Yukon Territory. Their story reveals the links between the movie business and the American expansion attitude in North America told through excerpts of the damaged films.
